Friday we went up to AET to use their dyno...and Ive been grining ever since :)

546bhp 470lbft torque AT THE HUBS so with a 12% transmission loss which is what the dyno opperator recons thats....

612bhp and 526lb/ft

and that was on a dyno dynamics chassis dyno that connects to your hubs, so no fudge factor for tyre inflation.

We now have The worlds first ever 600bhp FTO !!!!

Last year we ran an 11.09 quarter with 425 at the wheels, so god knows what this season will bring....

and I really should get round to adding nitrous back onto this sometime soon :)

Dyno graph can be seen on www.mitsubishi-fto.net under Performance.

ive seen the spec of the engine as it is now richard but missed the single turbo bit, impressive and expensive
was more interested in how far the stock engine can be pushed ;)

Think we may have found a challenger to your crown Richard for the fastest FTO, was looking round this today & decided to take a piccie, I was assured this is a serious threat to your car

hehehe... eurospecs FTO. Ive had the title for 4 years so its time someone put in a serious challange.

But theres certain things they cant take away :)
1st 13 second FTO
1st 12 second FTO
1st 11 second FTO
1st 10 .... (not quite!)

1st 300bhp FTO
1st 400bhp FTO
1st 500bhp FTO
1st 600bhp FTO

I cant take it any further at the moment as Im breaking gearboxes every event.

Surely you can manage a 10 with it after running an 11.09 last year without the box giving up!?!?!?!?
