Sounds good and sounds like there is more to come!

How much N2O did you use?

Hi Dave,

i was referring to HP numbers of course (don´t weigh your bottle because i don´t know how to write in english :D )
It would be nice if you had some more pics from your biked and engine!

sorry grimmjar i'm using the 25hp kit

I'm now thinking about upping the jets to say 40 hp for my last meeting in October
if tev can point me on this one again ;) would i need to knock off any timing ?
one thing I've had a worry about is my bottle position it in between swing arm and at slight angle but was thinking about cutting dip tube down and turning it upside down
any views on that too

cheers Dave

What jet NUMBERS are you using?

You shouldn't need to alter the timing on a 40 HP shot.

The bottle should be fine as it is but turning it upside down and cutting the dip tube down to 2" would be better still.

In that case before you step up the jets, just do a timed fuel flow test to see how much fuel you're flowing with the current jet and then repeat the process with the jet removed, then we can be sure you'll be good to run the larger jet without adding a pump.

All we need to know is how many cc's or how much weight of fuel you flow in say 10 seconds and we'll do the rest. If you choose the weight option we'll also need to know the SG of the fuel you use but failing that we can use a specimen figure to give us a reasonably accurate result.

Yes that's all good.

If you call Ant to order the jets and tell him either to check with me or give him this info, he'll be able to work out the jet sizes needed and get them sent out to you.

Happy to be of service.

Not sure what I said about the braided before but I guess it would be something along the lines that we can offer a conversion to the most suitable size of SS braid.

If you tell Ant the length of your current pipe and tell him you want a replacement dash 3 hose (with 1/8 BSP end fittings), plus 2 x Pulsoid I/L adaptors to 1/8 BSP (same fitting for Pulsoid and bottle), he'll get those sent out to you with the jets.

Unfortunately I don't know their current rules so the best thing to do would be to take a look on their website (assuming they have one) and if not give them a call, to be on the safe side.

Hi Dave, watched your #1 qualifying run, well done mate.
My 2nd run was my best of weekend also with a 9.82@144 in the 9.50 class, think we qualified 8th with that, which is my best so far so was well happy like you.
Am hoping to have a couple of goes at 8.50 next year, just need a change around with motors etc as my current chassis is holding me back, whereas in 8.50 i can lock rear up, wheelie bar and drag slick to get it moving off the line.
When you guys next out? Extreme performance or are you at national finals too?

Steve

There's a world of difference between the 2 and I had the same kind of experience when I stepped up from Sprinting to Drag racing, so I know what you're going through. ;)

Glad to hear you very happy with the system.
