Hi Trevor!
Today i made my first tries of discharge tube positioning - i looks very bad - i made it with welding wire and tongs - it should look much better
with the "real" tubes ...
please check the photos and add your comments.
Thank you!
Best regards
Manfred

just sent trevor a PM about this, my bike is a little different, but im wondering about the bend of the tube right before the outlet. that looks a little sharp to me. i would consider making more of an "S" shape going into the cylinder with a larger bend radius, but Ill let trevor tell you the best way As i really am not 100% sure.

Not bad Manfred, I'd just aim to apply the following minor mods;

1) The end of the Discharge tubes want to JUST enter the trumpets

2) Smooth out the bends so they aren't so acute (sharp), longer larder radius bends are better than short sharp ones and this also applies as the pipe comes out of the Y-Blocks.

3) If you could raise the Pulsoids up a bit it would reduce the length of the Discharge tubes and that would also be beneficial.

That about covers it.

Post subject:  Re: positioning of discharge tube

i found some time today :-) please check photos:
disch07.jpg shows my mod to make the shortest possible conenction between pulsoid & y-block - hope that is good.
disch12.jpg shows replacement of nozzels with venoms - i will seal the retainers with silicone into the 8mm hole -
how "deep" should the venoms go into the intake? pics disch14/15 -
i hope the new position of nitrous pulsoid and tubes is an improvement - but i have lots of "tubes" for better position available :-)
Best regards
Manfred

Looking good now Manfred

The Venoms want to insert in to the runner as little as possible.

Glad to see you post those pics Manfred and as I mentioned when we did the job, the new Y-Block instructions use those pictures.

BTW if you'd like to try and improve your results even more and you have some time and some spare nitrous over the winter months, I could give you some instructions on how to carry out some simple tests to find the EXACT optimum location for the Discharge TIP of the tubes, relative to the distance from the inlet valves.
