I have a decent tuned VRSCR with an 1130 engine. Mods made to include a Power Commander V. I currently sit at 121hp/74 torque. My current tune up shows my AFR at about 12:1 in the powerband from 5000-8000 rpm and WOT. I want to add a 40hp nitrous shot to this bike. First question, can I get away with dry shot kit with the tuneup where it's at with the 12:1 AFR? Or, should I use a wet shot? This bike doesn't have O2 sensors. I only know the AFR because of a recent dyno pull. Thoughts?

12:1 is the target value when running on nitrous, so it would be unsafe to add ANY nitrous with the mixture already running at that ratio.
Although we don't sell Power Commanders and I've never used one and nor would I recommend them as a consequence, I believe they have the ability to add fuel under certain circumstances.
If yours has that ability then it's likely that you can get by with a dry nitrous system.

Having said all the above, it is better to fit a wet system, as it's the only sure way to be able to achieve the desired AFR and maintain total reliability.

Awesome. That's kinda what I expected to hear... So, in theory, if my AFR is already at the target 12:1 ratio for nitrous then if I add a wet system to the mix I shouldn't need to adjust my map in the Power Commander much. In theory that is... Lol. Thanks for your input!

You won't need to change your map at all, as the wet system is effectively a stand alone system that you tune to stay at the overall ratio of 12:1 using jets at the Pulsoid outlets.
