Sales of my book have been so good (a few 1,000s sold) in the first full year, that the publishers are already having to arrange a reprint because they've SOLD OUT!!! :occasion7:

We just ordered 200 copies and were told they could only send us the last 40 copies and it will be October at the earliest, before they start the reprint - not the best forward planning I've ever seen. :evil:

No doubt there will be some book stockist who still have a few copies in stock but anyone who wants a copy and doesn't want to wait had better give me a call SOON!!!

BTW if anyone thinks this statement is a scam, please feel free to contact Veloce Publishing and try and buy even a single copy.
http://www.veloce.co.uk/shop/products/p ... %20Trucks&

At this point I'd like to thank the NUMEROUS customers who have been kind enough to post glowing reviews about my book.

The reprint gives us the opportunity to rectify a few minor errors (both our own and the publishers), that we found soon after the book was first published and I'd like to give all my customers the opportunity to influence the next reprint (albeit in a small way), so I'm inviting ALL of you to spot any mistakes, send me the details and if possible we will use YOUR alternative suggestion that corrects the mistake.

I'm also working on my second nitrous book that takes nitrous to the next level and I'm inviting everyone to make suggestions as to what subject areas they'd like to see covered.

The next book will be aimed at high end street applications right up to Pro Mod applications, assuming space permits, otherwise I'll be writing a third book in the series which will just be for high end race applications finishing off with my predictions for future nitrous system designs.

Anyone who has a vehicle which has either;
1) Achieved outstanding results
2) An unusual nitrous install
or who has an unusual vehicle, is invited to send me pictures of their vehicle with their results and a short piece about their experience with WON systems.

The best piece provided by a customer will be included in the book in full and as many others will be included but will probably be edited to a limited size due to space restrictions.

I'm also working on a new Pro Mo DVD, as well as a DVD version of my books and as space will not be an issue on these, I hope to include NUMEROUS examples of customers vehicles, from Smarts right up to Johnny Barbs Pro Mod car, so ALL WON customers have the opportunity to see their vehicles in print as well as the DVD.

It will be a good few months and probably over a year before the next book and DVDs are finished, as these things take 1,000s of hours but if you want the best chance of getting your vehicle used, I'd suggest you get your basic details to me as soon as possible.

Regards

I've just received this email and I thought this extract was worthy of posting on the forum and summed up exactly what I set out to achieve when writing the book;

"I have tremendously enjoyed driving this car and have considered becoming active in the field of motorsport, but do not have any technical background.
I started reading up on the technical aspects of high-performance engines and chanced upon your book "The Nitrous Oxide High-performance Manual" at our local bookstore (in SOUTH AFRICA).

I have already had the exhaust system modified and the car "chipped". I am examining all angles and was hoping to get sensible information in this regard. The quality of your book impressed me - as a total ignoramus in this field I was able to make sense of the technology involved".

As promised, here are my observations on what I consider to be printing errors contained in your book The Nitrous Oxide High-Performance Manual.

I will edit and add to the list as I read it (for the second time). I think I've already given my praise indirectly in another posting so won't try and replicate it here - besides, whatever I say it will simply be inadequate as the book is worth far more than I could ever express.

1.
PAGE 6: Below Chatper 7 heading

"Nitrous injection & high-....performance" I think the dots after "high-" are erroneous and should be deleted.

2.
PAGE 8: 3rd Picture Caption

"...managed 100bhp on gas." Do you mean petrol (as in American terms) because I've come to relate to gas as meaning N2O?

Hi Mike,

Thanks for that and in answer to point 2, I'm a Brit (lol) so I mean nitrous when I use the term gas, however as my book is selling extremely well in the USA such factors would benefit from being clarified as you point out.

Could I ask you to compile your observations and post them to me in an email all at one go, then I can forward them to Lisa to add and cross check with what we already have.

Thanks again

Regarding the gas/petrol debate, I noticed later in the book you do use the term petrol, so yes, it would be ideal to clarify those points due to the possible locations of the reader(s).

Sorry if I mistook your meaning when you referred me to this post, I assumed you wanted my findings posted here but no problem, will compile it all first, then send it via email as requested.

While you're here, can I ask you another off-topic question. What old used car would make an ideal project for your new innovative REVO system? i.e. One that would allow for the highest N2O bhp injection without any modifications or rebuilds required? I have a plan.

Jaguar or BMW V12 would be a good candidate.

I can't imagine how much nitrous I could shove down those engines and the Jag (from experience) responds particularly well to even a small amount of nitrous for some reason.
