Well the book has hit THE BIG TIME now!!!!

It's now in such demand in Russia, that the Publishers have just had it translated and done a special print run in Russian. That and the fact that they ran out of the original English print run much sooner than expected says a great deal about the appeal the book has.

If anyone wants a copy in Russian I'd be happy to offer one at a discount price, because they've sent me 2 copies and I only need one to keep as a momento of the achievement.

Could be a more interesting way to learn Russian for any tech guys out there who may need to work in Russia.

I don't know when we'll get the German copies but your name is on the first spare one (obviously I'm keeping a copy of each for myself) and I'll keep the Russian one and add it to your next jet order as you suggested.

GREAT NEWS for me but bad news for anyone who hasn't bought my book yet.

It seems the book must be selling VERY WELL, because the publishers have just put the price up to £19.99 and OBVIOUSLY when books don't sell well they have to have their prices slashed.

Although its a few ££s more now, I only end up with a few pence more but I'm extremely happy that the book is selling so well, regardless of what financial rewards I get from it.

Another plus for you guys who already have the book, is that it's now worth more than you paid for it and if they keep cranking the price up approx. £5 every couple of years, it's a better investment than GOLD.

I'm guessing that's why you're not making many posts recently?

Not so much about my book as another book on nitrous that's about to hit the shelves.

The author of this book is American and the following are the credentials he sent us, when asking for pics etc. of our products for his book;

"I am the author of over 1000 automotive and aviation magazine articles and a number of technical books, including, How to Tune and Modify Engine Management Systems (which recently won an International Automotive Media Award), and the new title The Turbocharging Performance Handbook, which was published last November. I have a Master's degree in Computer Science and an extensive technical background in racing, hotrodding, and engine building applications stretching back to childhood on a large Arizona irrigation farm where I first began wrenching and building mechanical applications for engines using diesel, gasoline, gaseous fuels, and turbochargers".

Now a number of people have tried to discredit my book, claiming that its biased because I own a nitrous company.

The following is an extract from an email I received from the author of the new book;
"I think Trevor’s book is full of good stuff, well written, good artwork, and so forth. Regarding objectivity and “bias,” I think anyone who has a for-profit business that directly relates to the subject of a technical book is going to encounter suspicion from cynical readers and reviewers as a matter of course. Trevor makes a good case for why he has made the design decisions for WON products and why he thinks they were the right ones".

We haven't seen the contents of the book yet but as a higher reputable, knowledgeable, INDEPENDENT, AMERICAN author, ANY positive comments he makes about our products, our concepts and our book should carry far more weight, than the inane comments from unknown fools, who have only played with nitrous an odd weekend, a few times a year for a couple of years, as is the case with most of those who have criticised everything associated with WON.
