Well NX tried their best to copy our Pulsoids and ended up with little more than an alloy based generic solenoid with a carbon fiber cover and now they've tried to copy our billet alloy bottle valves but its obvious that once again they didn't understand our ADVANCED (and subtle) technology by the design of their outlet.

http://www.nitrousexpress.com/Pages/lightning45.htm

No doubt their attempt is better than the generic brass garbage that they used to sell (along with all other companies) but they've still fallen short compared to ours.

Nice to know I've had such a strong influence on the company that "CLAIMS" to be the world leader in nitrous technology - :omgrofl:

What makes me laugh the most, is that they STEAL MY IDEAS/DESIGNS and then make statements and claims like these, ACTING as though they don't know my products exist; :omgrofl:

The “Lightning 45” is the first nitrous specific valve ever produced in lightweight aluminum.
UNTRUE as we all know WON is the ONLY company that can JUSTIFIABLY make that claim.

· Designed to be the best, starting with a blank sheet of paper, no compromises
DESIGNED - COPIED would be the right term to use.

· Lightest weight valve on the planet, over 1/2 pound lighter than the standard NX valve
STILL HEAVIER than ours then if it's ONLY 1/2 lb lighter

· Redirected nitrous flow path reduces turbulence and increases flow
· Increased piston lift improves flow and reduces turbulence
So at last an American nitrous company is concerned about turbulence - just 20 years or more AFTER I made my thoughts known on the subject. I wonder where they got that idea from? :omgrofl:
They could almost have copied our list of attributes for our bottle valve, just as they did when they copied the list of Pulsoid attributes and FALSELY claimed the same attributes for their alloy "generic" solenoid.

Hi Trev :)

They say >>>>>

Quote "The “Lightning 45” is the first nitrous specific valve ever produced in lightweight aluminum. Manufactured from 6061T6 billet aluminum bar stock, and pressure tested to over 10,000PSI to assure your safety. The Lightning 45 will outflow any valve on the market today* by a factor of four"

End Quote....

I can see at least two lies in those four lines lollllllllllllllllll................

Have they no shame ????

All the best Brett :)

You planning on any legal action for false advertising? :)

Not much point Bob but if we'd been based in the same country I'd have had them shut down for FALSE ADVERTISING, so they can think themselves lucky we're not, because it means they can get away with their LIES!!!

I wouldn't write the idea of legal action off that quickly.
It will be all to do with patents and copy write.

If they advertise and sell into the UK where they infringe existing patents and/or copy write then they can be hammered. If they stay in the USA and you have no patent or copy write there then they're safe AFAIK. I'm not a lawyer or anything. They're already advertising into the UK as the internet has no boundaries. Just a thought.

Mike
