One of our AMERICAN customers has just set a new WORLD land speed record for his class (on the salt lakes), using a WON system.

:wav:

What makes it even more of an achievement is that he's using a BRITISH engine and an old one at that, a 1970s Triumph Trident 3cyl 750cc.

He beat the existing record by 5mph and recorded speeds of 10mph higher than NA when using the system (on a rich small dose), so he'd have failed to set the record without WON.

He's now intending to push it even more at the next opportunity.

I'll be back with pics, performance and full details ASAP.

Owner/rider Steve Starrett had to beat 139 mph to set a new 750 APS-PF world record.

He was only able to manage 133 mph without nitrous but hit an AVERAGE of 144.5 mph when using WON.

Titties and beer indeed! :D

Great work from the old girl. Just goes to show, it's not just drag racing where there's a record for everything!
