GREAT NEWS!!!

Ian Hook is back in action at the Pod this weekend (in Street Eliminator) for the first time this year since carrying out some SERIOUS work on his chassis.

He's already posted his best ever NA 60ft time and taken No2 qualifying position (so far) and he's VERY HAPPY with the way the car drives now - STRAIGHT!!!!

Against a strong head wind and on very soft settings, he's posted a time of 8.2 and is expecting to improve SUBSTANTIALLY on that tomorrow.

Also at the Pod this weekend (in Street Eliminator) and CONTINUING to improve is Stuart Williams in his Supra who has posted an 8.7 sec pass (a new PB), with plenty more to offer.

They ran the first round of eliminations tonight and unfortunately Stewart went out but thankfully, despite terrible wheel spin on the launch (which meant he had to virtually stop and launch again), Ian still managed to nick the win by just 0.02 secs.
I just hope he can get the Max settings adjusted to achieve the optimum launch for the next round tomorrow. :pale:

Although Stuart was knocked out in the first round of eliminations, here's his best run of the weekend.

As you can see there is a good deal still to come, once he gets the launch power levels perfected;
