I've started this thread specifically to invite the 'creator' of the latest greatest solenoid the world has ever seen, to come and PROVE to us all, that 'his' creation is better than our Pulsoids.

I've given him the invitation, so we'll see if he has the balls to accept it. Anyone want to bet against us not seeing a word from him???

Hi Trev :)

Can i guess......

Hmm...someone without a brain who "thinks" he can copy advanced technology created by someone with the best Nitrous technological brain in the world ????

And then of course he "says" HE invented it.....

Or...it could be yet another idiot who copies those pathetic American solenoids made of tin,,,,you know the ones that NEED a rebuild kit every few miles....

Am I close ??? Lol , this is fun :)

All the best Brett :)

Probably a combination of them all and here's a picture of it and I can't wait to see the response it gets.

Hi Trev :)

Ummm...I assume thats not finished ???

Is it a partial solenoid or pulsoid ?

I rather like the box though lol, it seems better designed than whatever that is sitting in it....lollll

All the best Brett :)

Is that a REALLY REALLY TINY case. Or is the solenoid the size of a bucket

Looks like a wheel nut !!

My thoughts exactly - either that or someones been playing with paintshop.

He does claim it will do 800 HP and I haven't seen any evidence of a magnet circuit, plus he claims it is an AXIAL FLOW design (which he seems to think he invented)  ALL of which means it will need to be MUCH BIGGER than a Pulsoid and could be in the region of 4 times the size minimum, so even if this is a Paintshop fabrication, it's still going to be BIG.

Love the wheel nut comment and it's my bet it would do a better job of that.

He also claims that it will pulse but then claims that 15 to 20 Hz is optimum for ALL solenoids   which obviously it is when it's been BADLY DESIGNED

I offered to bet him $25,000 against his solenoid out performing ours in ANY respect but surprise surprise, he's made every excuse under the sun to avoid accepting the bet or even making time to comment here. Such a shame, as I'd have loved to have seen the results of turning up the frequency from 10 Hz and seeing his fail well below 20 Hz, while the Pulsoid ran on to 50 Hz +

The best of it is, he CLAIMS this is some major advance in nitrous technology and the only one in over 30 years - EVEN AFTER I pointed him to the REVO's and even skipping the Pulsoids altogether.  You couldn't make up such STUPIDITY and only in America, would you see someone TOTALLY DISREGARD much greater achievements, carried out elsewhere in the world, just as NX have done when claiming their GARBAGE alloy solenoid is the best there is for these past years. Such a shame we don't have worldwide Trade description laws, as I'd have that stopped immediately.

I showed that picture to my R&D team earlier today and after they managed to stop laughing, we decided to estimate the size of the thing. Starting from the side port (which at the smallest must be 1/8 NPT and MUST be at least 1/4 NPT on the one he claims will flow 800 HP, otherwise there's no chance of it flowing that much), we reckon that absolute smallest it can be is about 2 inches across the flats, which makes it about TWICE as big as the Pulsoids.

On weight and ease of location alone that makes the Pulsoid a winner, ignoring all the really good features the Pulsoids win with.

Then when you consider that the REVO's are even smaller and lighter than even our Pulsoids, this THING is like a BRICK in comparrison and about as suitable for the job as one.

Lets wait untill he has his Solenoid on a car and in competition.

I dont know whats the point in having a 800 shot pulsed with 20hz.

Will it have similar jet location like a Pulsoid?
If not... well... you konw best.
If so... will it make a difference?

Most of the racers will stick to the 2 or 3 stage system. This are 4 to 6 Solenoids.
Still hard to fit but better controll and distribution.

This big Solenoid will need a 8 way or two 4 way D-blocks plus a Y.
I can´t see ths thing in competition.
Even if rules say only one N2O Solenoid you still have to get the distribution right with a 800 shot!
This will be a nightmare i think.

How about a plate system?
Will it work there?

But i´m no expert nor did i ever spray above 200hp.

Thomas

Unless there's still some CRUCIAL parts to be disclosed, there's NO CHANCE OF THAT EVER WORKING!!!!

That will probably be a VERY LONG wait.

Exactly - TOTALLY INSANE.

Will it have similar jet location like a Pulsoid?
If not... well... you konw best.
If so... will it make a difference?
If it does you'll know where he got the idea from, as we're the ONLY company to use that technology. If he doesn't the results will be even worse than using ANY other solenoid but now we're 'assuming' it will operate at all and as stated above, it needs some key parts in specific materials to have ANY chance of doing that.

Most of the racers will stick to the 2 or 3 stage system. This are 4 to 6 Solenoids.
Still hard to fit but better controll and distribution.
Exactly, although hopefully we'll have convinced the smart ones, that a SINGLE REVO is by far the BEST option.

This big Solenoid will need a 8 way or two 4 way D-blocks plus a Y.
I can´t see ths thing in competition.
Agreed.

Even if rules say only one N2O Solenoid you still have to get the distribution right with a 800 shot!
This will be a nightmare i think.
It certainly will and if he gets that right by using jets at the nozzles the pulsed flow delivery will be WAY OUT.

How about a plate system?
Will it work there?
Not with a conventional plate, as a single bar (and even a twin bar probably), won't flow that much.

But i´m no expert nor did i ever spray above 200hp.
You don't have to be an 'expert' Thomas, you just to have a share of the UNcommon sense that most of my customers have.

One of the most arrogant stickers I ever saw on a car was "My wheel nuts require more torque than your engine makes."

What was even more annoying was that at the time it was also true...

On another forum I offered to bet this guy $25,000 in a contest between his solenoid and our Pulsoids (I knew he wouldn't go for a contest with the REVO - LOL) but his response was that he was too busy to accept the bet or to even enter in to a FACTUAL debate here.

Despite that public statement, unsurprisingly he's found plenty of time to create some negative propaganda against me personally and to post them to me (by email) and I'd guess he's posting them up on other forums. :omgrofl: :omgrofl:

Little does he realise that he isn't the first to try these 'dirty' tactics (in the absense of ANY FACTUAL ammunition) and just like ALL those before him (like Tubez, Denny and others), his failure is INEVITABLE. :loser: :loser:

Hi Trev :)

Go back and tell him to make the bet $50,000 ...I will match your $25,000 any day of the week....I like WINNING on a dead cert... :)

All the best Brett :)

Love that response Brett, shame he isn't dumb enough to take the bet, as it would be some EASY money.

I wonder if there's anyone out there dumb enough to take me on. I'm willing to take on ALL the US 'experts' (LOL) and ALL at the same time but after the fiasco on Yellow Bullet (when I was not only banned but blocked from the site), for humiliating all their BIG NAMES one by one, by demonstrating how little they knew, I bet I can't get even one to take any size bet.

They may have the top boxers in the US but they certainly DON'T have the TOP nitrous expert. Shame there's no world championship for nitrous experts, as I'd love to bring home the Gold medal for the UK. :salute: :salute: :D
