Some cool cars and bike at the pod that way.
Mum got a shout out on radio 2 for her micra exploits. alot of the bikers seemed impressed.
Had to laugh when she got stopped to take her zimmer frame out.
loads of bike, think a couple had bigger turbos than me.
I had a disappointing day. developed a turbo fault on way to track. raced on turbo only

Was I ever really going to beat the bikes?
Turned Nos on once. Huge cloud of white smoke out back. Still running but called it a day then.
Theres always next year.

Sounds an interesting day despite the problems.

Please keep us informed of progress.

It was a great weekend for me finishing with a super bank holiday monday with the chip fat crew. Mums Micra was the talk of the fire up lane mate :)

She was 3 cars in front of our slingshot in one of our attempted runs. I got to the front of the queue and said hello to her. She was lined up against one of those new Steriod pumped Nissan Skylines !!
The Biker Boys were all looking at the Micra and Mum. When i went over to chat to them and tell them about her they all said "Good on her mate".... I then said .... "This is the battle of the Nissans, Watch the Micra" They all gave her the thumbs up
I see she ran 20.6 seconds 3-4 times back to back??? That Micra is going to be a good bracket race car??

As well as being consistent on track, she makes a bloody good cuppa :D :D

Fixed turbo I think. The variable vain adjuster was adjusted all way out. So no boost for computer to add more fuel as the map says. Now have smoke ( and a funny chippy smell) so can add N2O. Will have another go when I get day of work in June.

no time of work, will have to be the retro show in July. It would be nice to line up against other oil burners.

If this was paper it would be to wet to write on. Was going on track saterday. All going well. Getting excited. Tried noz Thursday night. All was awesome. A gentel drive to my mothers this morning seems to have killed my turbo. I think this car is done. maybe when I've got over the disappointment I will try again.
