The Black Widow Spider plate is the most advanced and unique carb plate ever invented, offering all of the advantages of any conventional plate and the advantages of a Direct Port (Fogger type) system, without the disadvantages of either.

The Black Widow Spider plate features;
• The most advanced technology ever applied to a plate design. This incredible design not only looks impressive but more importantly it will produce outstanding results on all V8 vehicle applications.
• A massive 700 HP flow capability with dual 350 HP nitrous and fuel Pulsoids.
• An even more impressive 1,000 HP version available to special order for use with our unique 1,250 HP REVO.
• CNC Billet alloy construction with stainless steel fittings.
• Optimised flow path through the Spider to minimise loss of density.
• Perfect distribution to all cylinders.
• Uniquely shaped discharge tubes (legs), which when combined with its unique flow path, ensure minimum phase change and maximum nitrous density being delivered to each runner, resulting in the best performance gains from the least amount of nitrous.
• Discharge tubes manufactured from malleable brass, which can be individually contoured to optimise the point of injection to suit different inlet manifold designs.
• The design is so flexible that it can be supplied to suit a vast range of applications, although we currently only have them available for Holley type 4150 and 4500 carbs.
• Direct nitrous and fuel feeds to each runner to maximise runner/cylinder filling efficiency.
• The unique ability to be jetted at each discharge tube, which means tuning per cylinder is possible, in much the same way as a direct port (Fogger type) system.
• No obstruction as caused by conventional spray bar plates sold by most other companies.

The following is a list of advantages the Black Widow Spider has over other plates;
• SUPERCHARGING of the intake runners due to unique discharge tube location which utilises the Bernoulli principle to enhance runner & cylinder filling.
• REDUCED fuel drop out and loss of nitrous density due to ZERO CONTACT with the body of the manifold
• PERFECTLY EVEN distribution to all cylinders,avoiding the inevitable engine failures poor distribution causes.
• INDIVIDUAL cylinder jetting should the manifold in use 'cause' any uneven distribution.
• DIRECTIONAL discharge which can be adjusted to optimise the exact point of injection relative to the port.
• MAXIMUM liquid nitrous density delivery.
• MINIMUM flow losses.
• MAJORITY of pipe work inside the manifold results in the cooling effect of the nitrous flowing through the distribution network, cooling the intake charge.
• DISCHARGE TIP design reduces phase change and turbulence, delivering a denser charge.
• ANTI-FUEL FREEZING and better atomisation due to the location of the fuel outlet relative to the nitrous discharge tip.
• NO OBSTRUCTION to airflow caused by conventional spray bar type plates.
• ENHANCED NA power due to the filling of the dead volume in the centre of the manifold.

The following list is of the advantages the Black Widow Spider has over direct port systems;
• ANTI-REVERSION of the nitrous flow, due to the unique discharge tube location, which positions the start of the nitrous plume further away from the inlet valve.
• SUPERCHARGING of the intake runners due to unique discharge tube location which utilises the Bernoulli principle to enhance runner & cylinder filling. SUPERCHARGING of the intake runners due to unique discharge tube location which utilises the Bernoulli principle to enhance runner & cylinder filling.
• MUCH SHORTER pipe work of equal length to all cylinders resulting in higher flow capability, a more instant engine response and perfect distribution.
• DIRECTIONAL discharge which can be adjusted to optimise the exact point of injection relative to the port.
• MAXIMUM liquid nitrous density delivery.
• MINIMUM flow losses.
• MAJORITY of pipe work inside the manifold results in the cooling effect of the nitrous flowing through the distribution network cooling the intake charge, rather than wasted to the external air.
• DISCHARGE TIP design reduces phase change and turbulence, delivering a denser charge.
• ANTI-FUEL FREEZING and better atomisation due to the location of the fuel outlet relative to the nitrous discharge tip.
• ENHANCED NA power due to the filling of the dead volume in the centre of the manifold and NO OBSTRUCTION to port airflow by protruding nozzles.

700 hp as originally constructed but in excess of 1,000 hp if required. :twisted:

Well it's been a while coming but just like all good things it was worth waiting for.

At last we have INDEPENDENT CONCLUSIVE PROOF that the Spider DOES NOT cause an obstruction that leads to a loss of power, in fact the reverse could be said to be the case.

I'll be posting a link to the report that will soon be posted by the guy responsible for the testing (Insaneron - Ron Haslett) and I leave him to provide the full details but the essential details are as follows;

1) - 545 CI Ford motor (fitted with a blank Spider plate - no drop down tube fitted) made 767 hp
2) - As above with Spider fitted, made 770 hp
3) - As above with 250 hp jets fitted (set very rich at 0.74 Lambda), made 1024 hp
4) - As above made just under a 300 ftlb increase in torque and just fell short of the 1,000 ftlb figure

All the above done on low octane pump fuel and with just 5 degrees retard. :twisted: :twisted:

Here is a good example of JUNK in action. And this test was considered "satisfactory" on the internet. I wonder what happened to the engine?

Thanks for the perfect example of how JUNK plates perform.

The engines only survive because they are only adding relatively small amounts of nitrous. If the same products were used to push for the limits, they would very quickly end in tears.
