There follows a few pics, a brief report and a dyno print out from Matt Clarke of Roger Clark Motorsport.

All I can say is AWESOME INSTALLATION & AWESOME RESULTS!!!!!

The power figures are rear wheel figures, so outstanding results.

For anyone not familiar with the history of this car, it was raced last year with a NX kit fitted and suffered numerous backfires and consequential failures, before switching to a WON system and here are his comments after a season each of using both systems;

Hi Trev

Your system has totally restored my faith in nitrous, it has worked perfectly all year with no back fires or any issues with it at all.
We have had a great year with the car this year winning "ten of the Best" and scooby shoot out, and we were second in the "Time Attack" championship.
We haven't done any Pod meets this year, but did do a 9.59 1/4 at Evington at TOTB in July not bad for a concrete non prepped track.
We may do some pod events next year. I haven't tried the 150 jets yet its been running so well I was reluctant to change it mid season, I may test them now!
The graph from AET is power at the wheels, not bad for a two litre Subaru.

Many thanks

Matt Clark
Roger Clark Motorsport

Just a shame this isn't a Pro Mod car but a similar result at that level is inevitable eventually.

The Roger Clark boys helped me out big time at the Pod at USC 2006. I was backing the MG off the tow dolly just next to their big tent in the pits when one of my boards slipped and the MG was left hanging on the dolly with the front spoiler crushed on the steelwork. I was on my own at the time as it was very early on the Sunday. 4 of them rushded over and manually lifted the front of the B in the air and dropped me safely to the floor.
Big up to the RC boys!!
The sad thing is I remember watching "the" Roger Clark race when I were a lad. Am I too old to be doing Nitrous? NO WAY !!!

Am I reading this right, the fuel injectors are upstream of the nos injectors?

Matt says he's yet to run with 150hp jets - what was he using?

Yes that's right and I believe he was using 75 bhp jets.

isent this the way us bike boys with no airbox do the install as standard :-)

I remmber a convo about the cross fires a long time ago and the venoms with you trev :-) , need new inlet rubbers to try the upstreem set up altho injecting the fuel at inlet rubbers and then some how injecting nitrous from other end of carbs at WOT shooting thro carbs as it were still is something i want to try :-)

It's certainly how Dave Bailey is doing it and I'm sure Dave would admit that he was slightly reluctant to be the first to try this concept but having the pioneering spirit he soon overcame that initial reluctance.

The advantage of this concept on a car is that it can either be done after the carbs (due to longer inlet runners) or due to fuel injection it is less of a problem to inject at the runner entry.

Unfortunately Dave found out (for both of us) the hard and costly way, that injecting at the air intake (through a carb) can't be done in the gungho manner it can on a fuel injected engine or at least that's the case if you intend to launch on the gas, as we never tried it any other way which may have proved to be acceptable.

That depends how you define "best", as an all round performer with looks and style, it certainly has to be a contender but on pure performance it currently takes at best 2nd place to our other US nitrous kit convert Andy Forrest.
Andy has managed a low 9 using a NOS kit and had been suffering similar nitrous kit related problems to Matt but he's now switched to my system and we're confident nitrous problems are a thing of the past and 8s are a thing of the future.

Not content with giving it hell in the Time Attack series for the past 2 years, Olly Clark also repeated last years domination of the Ten Of The Best event today and as far as I'm aware he took the overall win.

Over the course of the day he posted a much improved (over last years 9.6) 9.2 sec 1/4 time, whilst ALSO running a 194 mph terminal speed over the Kilo, which proves that despite doing extremely well over the 1/4 mile to win the 4 wheel drive class, he could do MUCH BETTER if he had the gearing optimised JUST for 1/4 events.

If that wasn't impressive enough, Olly told me that they were still only running 100 hp jets and didn't want to push it too hard at this event, because they have another round of the Time Attack in a couple of weeks and wouldn't have time to rectify any consequential problems.

If all goes well they'll be winding it up for a SERIOUS ATTEMPT over the 1/4 at the end of the season, so watch out for a record time then.

Just returned from Snetterton Race circuit where the last round of the Time Attack event was held.

Olly Clark drove the RCM Subaru to a new lap record of 1.06 mins and in so doing WON this round and took the 2008 Time Attack Championship. :wav:

Brief clips of Olly doing his thing.

Spot the differences between these 2 laps and no prizes for guessing which lap he was using WON.

Just a shame the exhaust isn't on the other side.

Amaziing the effect on spooling.

At just after 5Krpm the power and torque nearly triple!

No prize? Then I won't guess it's the second video where he's accelerated through a couple of gears in a blink of an eye - incredible! Is that due to camera shake or can I see flames coming out the nearside?

Hi :)

Thats true actually...I have a video somewhere of mine on a dyno and when the operator backed off the revs at around 6000 after a WON run, the video shows GREEN flames popping back from my tail pipes....

No idea why its green but it only does it when the Nitrous is running, not normally lol..

All the best Brett :)

It seems the top picture has decided to stop working, so if your question was aimed at the Roger Clark car, then its a Scooby.
