These are posted in the Street Challenge for 2011 at Santa Pod. Had we done a 13.7 on a RWYB, we would have been sandwiched between a Challenger and a Mustang Roy Pogue - Challenger R/T - CC2513 - 50th 09/07/2011 13.6771s 102.89mph Maciej Redel - Mustang GT - CC2474 - 51st 09/07/2011 13.8289s 99.45mph Richard Thompson - BMW 840ci - CC806 - 52nd 09/07/2011 13.8765s 97.75mph This was Vivienne's fastest 1/4 mile at the 2011 BMW Show (and of all time), but not the highest terminal on this run. She coasted across the line as the engine gave out on 2 cylinders and did NOT shift to 4th gear (as we later found out) No. Reaction 60ft 1/8 1/8 1/4 Terminal C393 0.7502 2.1992 8.8602 81.83 13.7025 96.07 Its been great fun |

As you know I'm off to Florida in October and a mate has a yard with several chevy's in it, plus he collects 454 lumps. I still want a 69 Chevelle and shipping costs are not too bad. See you Sunday, Viv and I have a score to settle - V8 vs V12 (now its been chipped). Seriously as for the 850, its the most noticable improvement I've ever made to a car (apart from Nitrous). The old chips were 1986 AMD's (1 x EML & 2 x DME). Its now been brought into the 21st Century. The throttle response is phernominal, should be an interesting race. I will need someone to film it. The Bimmerforum make Viv the favourite, which ever car she's in I will be in the V8 (no Nitrous) Viv in the V12. |

In my E30 V12 it´s 19sec to 17sec. from 0 to 200 kph. And with some (very little) WON Help its sub 13sc. from 0 to 200 kph. Go with a full 150 shot and its sub 12sec. Rich, you need to buy some Nitrous for the 850i!i!i! The V12 isn´t pleased enough. Go, and get NITROUS, Nitrous, nitrous, nitrous nitrous, nitrous Thomas |
