I have been running my 2 stage set up for a while now. Ive recently remapped the megasquirt and can easily achieve 30 mpg in the TVR. Not bad considering the 4.6 V8 is far from standard.

The car was run at Surrey rolling road last Saturday with suprising results ;)

First stage is at WOT and jetted for a 75 shot at 2.5:1 ratio to a single crossfire before the throttle.
Second stage is on a pushbutton for a 60 shot at 3:1 ratio to twin crossfires in the plenum flare.

The following day at York culminated in this run in the final of NSCC at York... I was HRG7 in the right lane.

I ran 11.1 again on a much hotter Monday but this happened in the 1/4 final

I guess the 'Raceproved' shafts arent as proved as they say they are
As soon as i am back in work i will be calling Dave mac for some proper shafts.
Despite a truck ride home i was very happy after a great weekend 8)

Good work!, still haven't been to York Raceway this year; need to pull my finger out!.

Someone made some 300m driveshafts for GTO's a while back but they were worse than stock..

HRG ???

11.07 seconds ??

The car needs HRT by the sound if it Del :omgrofl:

Seriously though!

Great result mate  So so close to that 10 I bet you can taste it now eh??

Have you thought about having those shafts cryo treated? I had some done for Jays Escort and he made 11.7 seconds with them. They are 35 year old MGB 1800 shafts and they held up ok? I had mine copied by Moser and they are really good. They are the same size as the MGB shafts but they are made form better metal. I would not be down to 10.2 without Mosers help for sure. I'm wondering if I should ge these cryo treated as well?? The guy who does the cryo stuff charges about £9 per kilo.

You can find him here.......... http://www.195below.co.uk/Pages/motorsport_cars.html

His name is Andy

See you soon
