Post subject:  Comparison of WON nitrous to US systems

I thought the board would like some insight into my exposure to US nitrous system and what i am now experiencing with the WON kits. I am a neutral observer, however, I do have a lot of experience with NOS, NX and now WON. I currently have my WON nitrous kit up to 200Hp and will bring it up to 300 this week in a streetable car. Here are my observations:

1. WON kits - difficult to understand initially, almost funny when first observed.
2. WON kits - very easy to understand after a brief learning curve.
3. WON kits - much easier to install then US kits.
4. WON kits - The look is much better.
5. US kits, the current draw and subsequent voltage drop on multistage systems is a killer. The WON low impedance solenoids basically eradicate voltage drop and solved a huge problem for me
6. WON kits are the only system of components that I think can be safely run the progressive mode.
7. The biggest thing and I still cannot get over it is the soft hit of the nitrous. It is so deceiving. There is no sledge hammer bang to the drive line, but, there are massive amounts of torque that seem to come in seamlessly, even when running a fixed stage of 200 hp.

If anyone want some new NOS solenoids, I can make you a good deal on them.

Thanks for that Jack the comments about the seemless transition are particularly welcome and I venture to suggest that your report supports the results of the "independent" contest (and visa versa) shown below.

I'm sure you're going to discover even greater advantages as your experience with my system progresses and I look forward to your future updates.

4. Yep but i can understand why some don't think so
5. You and I both
6. Just as they were designed
7. Wierd shit aint it ?

Seriously though, as someone who's very factual, methodical and un-biased your opinion is very valuable.
Some of us will be very interested in how you get on with the wideband on progressive so the more details the better.
Maybe by the end of summer we'll have our own mini Viper alley over here ;)
