Hello All,

I am wondering what would be the minimum wall thickness around an exhaust valve port to water jacket on a turbocharged aluminum head.

And if to thin would it cause cavitation in the water jacket around the exhaust port?

Regards,
Simon.

ok wall thickness is quite important. I would leave this be. Reason being is thin metal heats faster then thicker. The thinner you make it the more prone it will be to acting like a glow plug. This is a bad bad thing when running nitrous. I would strongly not recommend doing this unless you had a pro on hand to help out. I hope this helps :)
