I use blue spade male/female connectors on bikes for wires , Yep lol they are the correct size for the wires i use , Now question are these any better than bullet connectors for just joining wires as far as rating and amps or are they all same ?

Now hopefully this time around all my electrical systems will be in place and once wired up thats it and unless something breaks should not need to come apart

Obviously i will still need spades at arms , sols and relays ect

Hi Tezz, I doubt whether rating is gonna be an issue, more down to personal preference.
I personally have never had a problem with spades, whereas I have had bullets come apart, especially at the crimped point.

Yes iv done that with bullets but usally from over crimping or using to small a wire for connector , LOL the wires i used on bike are very good spec and just fit in the blue connectors , OVER KILL yep :shock: :shock: but them a m8 only has just explained to me about flowing amps and switching amps ect i bet i could power blackpool with wiring on bike LOL

Just want to do it all once now and be done with it , got some serious amounts of wires relays, fuse arms ect on bike now and about to add a few more , but on plus side apart from connections to battery it all completely stand alone and decicated to nitrous and its system

Just found Amozon for online shopping they got some great deals on there and apparently RS componets are now not just restriced to account holders , should cut my cost when i rewire bike for last time

Tezz or Rich, do any of you know if these Wago connector blocks can be used to power several electrical components from one feed source?

That would make life much easier for me as I have made a panel with controller, switches, tps and window switch to be mounted in my dasboard. These connector blocks are compact and are rated at 21 ampere. I also want to use a connector block for the groundwires.

I presume you mean each individual connector is 21A rated and NOT just the whole block.
That seem a very neat block, how much do they cost?

Euh.., 21 ampere is just what it reads on the side of the block, so I think that`s the total amperage load they can endure.
You can buy these things at hardware stores, they are cheap. Just a few euro for a package of 5. Best to google it.

Made a few pictures of the interior dash panel I just finished.

The result of my handywork with electrics in true Macgyver style.
You can see how I included a relay despite having a Minimax, as the switch Noswizards provided only has 10 ampere capacity.
The Wago block connectors can also be seen here.
Going to test everything out next weekend.

Panel view from the front. My car came without audio, so this will install nicely into the dashboard. I like to keep an eye of all the components, such as the minimax, tps, window switch, activation switch, bottle heater switch with green light.

The panel looks a bit rough, it`s not finished yet.

I think you wont see that high current.
But this wago connectors are not my first choice on a bike and right now not on my car.
Right now i re-wire the whole car. All connectors are new. Amp and Lock-Up connectors all the way with enough spare wires. No more band aid on that car! :evil:

If it was a choice between the two I would go bullets personally, as the click together rather than spades which are a friction fit.

I work on bikes every day and a pet hate is wiring joined together by spades.

Amp connectors or solder shrink wrap are far better.
