Re adding extra fuel. I was thinking that this could be done via the DP system when needed?
Its going to be jetted for individual cylinder fuelling and will run at high pressure via the bosch 044 pump system. Obviously I cant ramp it up much until the fuel system is finished and tested. And I wonder how long before I hit the limits of the cylinder head ports if thats a problem??
I'm surprised it hasnt let go already with so many runs done now. ? Its the old case of either wait to race with the new engine or play with the scapper until it goes pop. At least it gives me some track time. I'm at a crossroads with the new engine as I'm not sure whether to build a higher revving engine or one that will give me torque further up the rev range?
The old one peaks out at max torque at just under 3000 rpm. So its hell for leather up to the 1/8th and then she just settles down for the last half.
