Hi All :)

I have just been invited to run here >>> http://www.modifiedmadness.co.uk/

Its where I took my 928 1/4 mile record last year and its near to me and I like the track, even though its on an old airfield in the middle of Baker Barracks.

But at least its in the South so not far to travel ....

The event is run in aid of Help for Heroes so I always support it....

I will run on the Sunday only....

I may or may not get another record as my high speed stuff (wheels/diff) etc is still on the car , but I had the same on last year so you never know lol...a 12 would be nice... my record at the moment is 13.03 at 113 mph.

Obviously to take another record I will NEED the new Revos sides plus the NEW REVO RACE MAXX :) :) lol..

It would be good to see some other Won cars there this year as only Sam was there last year apart from me :)

For anyone who has not been its a nice relaxing family day out with various attractions...

If you don't come back with a 12 I'll be very disappointed Brett, so give it your best. ;)

The plates already have your name on them but it'll be a few more weeks before we have the new Max 2s are available, although I'm sure that we'll still get that sorted in plenty of time for this event. :yes:

Just seen this post. We'll be there this year although I'mnot aloud a full pass because of the stopping distance. We are goin over there in the next couple of weeks to try a flat out run on the full length of the runway I'd like to break the 200 as well but I don't think its long enough

I hope to go as it's near family and would be a good reason to go see them and take them out.

Hi Ron :)

I dont think its long enough for 200... I was chatting to Lee last time (who is in charge of the setup lights etc) and I seem to remember he mentioned its only just under 1 mile long on the longest of the two runways....

Its also downhill the way they run the 1/4, with a 90 degree turn to the right at the end....

Its certainly not long enough for me to run 200 plus there, at least not at the moment...

How did you manage to wangle a go on the full runway ?

I would happily come along and give it a try though lol, or help you out...

I am only 30 miles away in Bournemouth.
