I'm doing some online research now so I can make some wheelie bars for the MGB.
I've already had some axle brackets made and I have most of the tubing I need. A mate has donated a pair of very nice billet ally wheels with tyres that look like funky skateboard wheels. I better get the mig welder out next month so I can start getting it together as I dont want this crap happening again !

Yes I think it may be time hahaha. I bet it gets really scary when that happens.

Its a no brainer really guys!!

It looks really cool off the line and the crowd in the grandstand love it, but all it does it waste time !!

I've been doing some research and I think I can make these at home. I've got the tubes and rose joints and now the wheels thanks to my mate Mike. I also got some axle brackets cut for a very sensible price from Paul at Whengparts so I'm good to go I think.

I went to a local hotrod shop last week to buy some wheelie bars that would have been perfect. But they were £380.00 all in. I reckon I can make my own for well under £200.00 so I guess thats what I'll do now. A mate of mine is going to let me use his 4 post ramp so we can weld the axle brackets on when I need to get them fitted.

I need to get the Rover V8 back in the game in 2015. I'm happy with running mid 9's but I want a high 8 second pass by September this year. Believe it or not there are still 2 cars out on the Drag Strip with Rover V8s fitted that are running down to 8.3 seconds. And I want to be part of the Rover V8 8 second club before I retire the engine later this year.
