Do you have a 100BHP jet in each bank or is it 50+50.
Do you have any performance figures pre N2O as I run an 840 in the UK and I'm very interested to compare data.
Rich.

Hello Thompson

I don't have any quarter mile stats for the car as I don't track it. But here is a list of Pre NOS Mods

Custom DME Cyntex Software
Wokke V2.0 EML Chip
Dinan Transmission Chip (raises Redline by 300 RPMs)
3.64 gears (came stock on the early M70)
Remus Sport exhaust with cat delete

Hi Viper,

Many thanks, my girlfriend says mine needs polishing now she's seen yours ha-ha.
I'm also curious where your jets have been fitted to the inlet manifold.
If you check my link (BWM840 Black Panther) you can see my Direct Port system.
I have yet to run mine at its peak on the strip, but that should happen in mid September.
You have a superb looking example of the 8 Series. I goto the states 2-3 times a year and only seen one 8 Series to date. They are also quite rare over here in UK and turns heads wherever it goes. Mind you my mates reakon mine sounds like a Big Block chevy ha-ha.

Best Wishes
Rich.

Hi Hadi,

Thats a really good looking set-up and your engine is cleaner than my dinner plate
I have just bought an 850i, but that's gonna stay standard.
I'll leave the 840 to the abuse :omgrofl:

One last thing.

You really should take the plastic plug off the fuel cell breather port and plumb in a proper breather line. On the race cars I've been involved with (pro road racing) the line goes up to the top of the trunk, then loops down to a bulkhead fitting on the floor. We've used an in-line fuel filter on the underside of the car to keep dirt and debris from getting in. The loop up to the top keeps fuel out and the filter dry so it breaths well, and the loop down the the floor will save your butt in a roll-over scenario.

I've heard of a few people missing to plumb this in, and the vacuum generated during use made regulating fuel pressure a nightmare, and in one case, was guessed to be the cause of a burned out fuel pump.

Thanks for the replies guys

@ Adam
The black pulsoid in the back is the purge. I have a long braided feed line from trunk to engine bay, purge was a must.
I only used that red cap when car is not in use. This RCI cell has an 8an vent with a rollover valve buit in. I now have a vent fitting with a filter installed so the red cap is not needed anymore :)
@ Richard
Congratulations on the 850i purchase. This v12 deserves some nitrous, mine is taking the 150 shot like a charm

Hi

My pics were gone for some reason but I uploaded new ones above. A lot has changed since the original install.
More efficient layout with the ss lines between Y blocks and injectors with the pulsoid relocation resulted in line lenghts of 11" for nitrous and 7 inches for fuel between pulsoid and crossfires.
Will be trying the 175 shot this spring BTW.

Thanks for viewing
Hadi

Trev, I have -3 supply pipe. Will it flow the required amount for the 175 shot or do I need to upgrade to -4?

Thx in advance

dash 3 hose MAY JUST do it but if you want to be sure, then Dash 4 is the way. If you don't already have a purge, you will need one if you go to Dash 4.

Sold the 850 :(
4 years of great power and reliability from the WON system.

Here's the replacement :)

Of course it will have the proper won treatment after upgrading the clutch and other few bits :)

Can't wait to see the WoN install, you'll be hard pushed to beat the BMW install, that was soooo nicely done!
but I'm sure you'll top it somehow!
