quick update
to eleviate concerns about fuel capacity and lack of therein!

fitted a box section frame to car floor (will save the tedious step by step shots! here you can see the pumps mounted to alloy brackets, these free flow 100GPH each, and are rated safe to around 400bhp each, so should safely deal with my use!
fitted an 8 gallon fuel cell, foam filled with the two necessary pick ups, those are 8AN, which translates to a half inch bore
two pre filters, are actually diesel filters, but i struggled to get 1/2" bore filters that wernt astronomically priced, these should be fine, as diesel pumps need to be festidiously clean internally
all repiped with 3/8th bore cupra nickel through the car, with adapters to the carbs 5/16 as close as poss, similarly on the nitrous solenoids/system, te second pump is operated when the system is armed

http://youtu.be/M5aUEFfGVh0up to press the car isnt really doing the business, with a best of around 13.4, whish is a 2 tenths drop, baring in mind the new tyres dropped my 60foots by 4 tenths, im a bit disappointed, the car is bogging in 4th gear, and id like a lower ratio diff, but they are rare and expensive (running 3.31:1 and 26" dia tyres) however i think, that the fred was not holding the nitrous level through the gears, ie returning to 20% on each gear change, so im hoping now i can unleash the full 150bhp jets that it will improve my times, will also buy some larger jets, so i can step up to a 200bhp upper level and see what happens for next time!
