Nice car! I can't wait to see the results of a good nitrous spray! What kit will you be using?

i'll be going for this kit http://www.noswizard.com/car-nitrous-ki ... -body.html

gonna go for a 50 shot and hopefully that should take the c2 to roughly 200bhp I hope haha!

You've made a wise decision! WON is the best and the only REAL nitrous system made with performance, aesthetics, and most of all IMPECCABLE RELIABILITY!

Your car should take the 50 shot with ease; Citroen knows how to build a beefy engine!

reliability is the main reason why im going for a won kit rather than anything else!
and I hope so haha!
I know these engine can run " safely" around 200-230 on standard internals , and id love to go for a 75 shot of nitrous but I just don't know if I want to risk it or not haha! :(

You shouldn't have a problem with a 75 (or even an 80 shot). Stepping up the nitrous ladder is the same procedure: retard timing 2 degrees per 50 bhp increase (this gives you a bit of a safety margin); test the Nitrous/Fuel ratio by reading plugs, then re-advance the timing to where you make more power without detonation.

Also, WON systems have a "soft" hit that won't cause engine damage unlike other brand kits. Moreover, by using a WON nitrous controller, you can run much larger shots on your stock engine because you can control the amount of torque the engine produces (which most engines overtorque at lower RPM and break) at any given RPM. Lastly, you can make massive power reliably with a direct port system with its precise delivery per cylinder.

And with some engines, direct port is a must due to "complex" type intake manifolds with all sorts of crazy bends in them.

That's a nice candidate for a WON nitrous system

well then!
a very late update but ive now got nitrous all set up and running! :D

just need to get some decent quality photos now!

i did buy the system 2nd hand though, and only got two jets with it, one in the nitrous solenoid is 80 and the one for the fuel is 35...
that should be about right shouldnt it?

also when i did the static test i held the revs at 2k and with nitrous on the revs went up to about 6.2k ish which im assuming is about right as the redline is around 7k, isnt it?

also after checking the plugs they seem to be okay!
but i will get some photos because tomorrow and post the photos of the plugs up for you guys to assess to make sure all is well!

All systems bought used should be tested by HighPower, you never know what stupidity was done on the system. Some people think they can mess with the Pulsoids and assume that they know enough about them to put them together correctly. There is even a sticky post in the forum about this. To summarize, someone bought a used WON kit and it blew up their engine because the pulsoids were tampered with.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to some pics! And how about some videos?

X2 and especially if it's one of our older systems (some are still going strong after 30+ years, as we had to change the sealing materials in the fuel Pulsoids in 2010 to be suitable with the fuel changes that were introduced in 2009.

We can do the checks and service if needed while you wait if you called down with them and we are available to do that up to 7pm Monday to Thursday.

Did you get the system sorted and fitted and if so do you have any pics for us?
