NITROUS OXIDE ( nos / n2o ) advice forum

Hi All


Just fitted a Provent 200 breather system to my Porsche 928 S2 to help with the breathing ....

Planned it for two weeks, heights needed, pressures etc, got all the correct Samco hoses (blue) and joiners and clips I needed....fitted it all, and worked perfectly...

Apart from one slight problem, I went for a "brisk" test drive , only using 500hp of Nitrous, and popped the bonnet when I got back, to see if the fumes had stopped, which they had...lol

BUT.....I had forgotten to put back in the dipstick, so had around 2 or 3 pints of oil sprayed all over the engine

So steam clean on engine today ....

Its my age I think...lol....ah to be young again

Engine cleaned and another "brisk test drive...... all perfect again now , and clean

My latest apprentice is 19 years old and WASTING his spare time away - IF ONLY I could make him appreciate how VALUABLE that time is and how he should be making best use of it.

Old head/young shoulders etc..... wasting your time I suspect.....

Interesting subject though....

IF you could time travel back INTO a younger version of yourself (with all your knowledge from today).....

What age would you jump back to ?

Personally I don't think I would go back to too young a version of myself.....

Probably around 30.....
