How can I set it up so that I receive an email notification when a post has been answered by someone?

I think you do it by subscribing to a thread and you can manage it in the user control panel. I've never used it before but I think that's how to do it.

Im sure its easier than it sounds, another forum im a member of you just automatically get an email saying theres a reply

Yes, it works... all you must do is hit the 'subscribe topic' button and you'll get email notifications. 8)
