Is the red pipe for N2O?
If so, is this an ordinary pipe?

This type of distribution don´t go well with dense and equal N2O things.
Thats what i have learned here....

Have no fear I'm NOT changing the WON laws on nitrous - not for the worse anyway!!! :yes:

ALL the red components (except those in the first picture ONLY) are for the FUEL side of the system.

NONE of the items that make up this system could be described as 'ordinary' as each component has UNIQUE aspects to their design to achieve the intended purpose as perfectly as possible.

The fuel rail you're concerned about wouldn't even be good for fuel distribution IF it was used in the way ALL other fuel rails/logs are used by other companies BUT in our case we are NOT using it the way they do (which causes uneven disctribution) but instead we have devised a way of achieving PERFECT fuel distribution by using it in an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT WAY!!! :twisted: :twisted:

I'm not going to disclose the secrets just yet but here's a few factors for you to think about;

1) That 'tube' is what I've named the PRIMARY fuel rail
2) This system is for a Pro Mod EIGHT cylinder car
3) That rail ONLY has SIX outlets
4) The other red components interconnected by stainless steel tubes I've named the SECONDARY fuel rails

I'll now leave you to see if you can figure out how we've achieved PERFECT fuel distribution. ;)

I'll take a stab.....

You are running one primary fuel rail and feeding it to two secondary rails. You have six tubes interconnecting them.

?

That's the only thing that makes sense to my pea brain with what info is given so far.

Correct and the reason for 6 feeds (3 per each bank of 4 injectors), is because our testing proved that was the ONLY way to achieve PERFECT distribution, whereas ALL other feed arrangements direct to just one tier of fuel rails (single at one end, single in the middle, one at each end), resulted in UNEVEN distribution. :twisted:

Here's a VERY ROUGHLY taken shot that I've very quickly edited (quite badly) of some of the components ROUGHLY assembled, which should give you a better idea of the layout.

All the mounting plates are laser cut highly polished stainless steel and as a consequence are reflecting all the rubbish in the area, which is why it doesn't look so good but I'll take some properly prepared shots ASAP.

BTW the secondary fuel rails wont be laying down as they are in the pic when fitted to the manifold, they'll be upright with the Fuel Discharge Tubes inserted in the top of the runners and aiming directly at the back of the inlet valves to achieve maximum vaporisation. :twisted:


Here's another rough pic - this time it's of the outstanding atomisation created by our Fuel Discharge Tubes (even though this is only from one of our PREproduction versions), which is nowhere near as good as we've managed to improve on with our PRODUCTION tubes.

Fabrication looks great, but your pictures confuse me.

In one picture you've got a single REVO feeding the main fuel rail, in another you've got a "Y" block setup with 4 outlets at the bottom, and in the last picuture, the "Y" block is gone, and so is the REVO from the first picture.

I know you'd never use a straight 90 degree fitting on a nitrous distribution point, so what's the story?

What's the "real" system going to be plumbed like? :D

Oh, and for anyone that hasn't guessed, the layout in that last picture isn't the way it will sit on the intake manifold. You could say the picture is 2D, and the system will be installed 3D.

Trev, not to take any of the thunder away from the system, but again...you've confused me with the fuel discharge layout. I'll email you to explain.

Some of that is due to design changes as we've carried out R&D tests and discovered either a problem or a better way to do it and some of it is due to pics not being taken in a coherent sequence, plus I don't want to disclose the entire design just yet. ;)
For everyones information, this is the ONLY system that I've designed, that I've been given an entirely free hand to do it entirely as I want, rather than have to design it with consideration for other brands of kits already fitted. Therefore anyone who is wondering why this is so different to the previous Pro mod set up, that's the reason.

Well that certainly has been one of the main stays of my designs UNTIL THIS INSTANCE but for 3 reasons we decided the benefits of other factors outweighed the negatives in this case;
1) The available space under the plenum made it impossible to use our current Y's
2) Due to the limited time available (it should have been on the car last week at the latest for track testing but is still with us now but with a LOT OF LUCK should be fitted and being tested by this weekend), caused by my injuries in the car accident, we had to use as much of what we had in stock as possible (rather than make specific designed components), so it had to be T's
3) We were (INCORRECTLY and surprisingly as it turned out), lead to believe that a T would produce even distribution albeit at the expense of flow but it didn't turn out to be as straight forward as that.


What's the "real" system going to be plumbed like? :D
LOL - It will be slightly different and I hope to have some pics of the system fitted on the manifold and on the car within a week or so. We'll also be making changes/improvements as and when we can, as we move from a 2nd stage prototype system to a short run production system.

I love reading all about the Revo systems, even though I do not have the budget for such a setup! I might be able to get some X10's this year, and maybe trade in the Maximiser for a Maxextreme :)

I'm trying to cram in as much of the info into my brain as I can, and can only wonder at how you came to design such a ground braking system, but then again, having done it once or twice before, it really should not come as such a surprise!!

You sure do not get this kind of information, or news, on other nitrous sites and definatley takes more thought and R&D then designing a set of new graphics!! :)

You'll be pleased to learn that EVENTUALLY (a couple of years down the line), I hope to have such a good handle on the REVO's that we'll be able to offer them at a MUCH lower cost, so they may eventually be within your budget. :yes:

We may have some used Max Extreme V1's available over the next few months, as we've JUST launched the latest Max Extreme V2 and we'll have some existing customers upgrading their V1 to V2's so keep that in mind.

It's nice to have that appreciated and I can tell you that it takes endless hours of burning the midnight oil (as you can see from the time of this post) and 35 years of past experience and understanding to build on, so it kind of gets easier each time. Having said that, even after ALL this work with nitrous, we still keep learning something new almost as often as I used to do at the start. I can assure you that there are many much easier media's to work with than nitrous, so although it gets easier in some respects, it's still generally a pain in the ass.

They atomise EXTREMELY WELL from 5 psi upwards. :yes:

BTW the reason so much of the system is in laser cut polished stainless steel (rather than CNC billet alloy), is because I lost months of time on this project, due to the injuries from my accident and we're able to get laser cut pieces made within 10 days, whereas CNC machined alloy parts would have taken weeks if not months.
Over the next few months we'll be using these parts as templates for a much improved design, that we'll be offering to other customers (and upgrading this one), as soon as this customer delivers the desired numbers. :yes:

BTW the system is so inconspicuous that my customers main competitor came over to look at the car and asked when he was going to fit a nitrous system. :omgrofl: :omgrofl:

The guy was totally confused when he was told it was already on there and had to have it all pointed out to him.
He was then STUNNED when he was told that it could deliver in the region of 1,000 to 1,200 HP. :twisted: :twisted:

We're ultimately aiming to use approx. 5 lbs of nitrous in under 4 seconds and in 1/8 mile. :twisted:
