Here is a copy of a recent email report from a US customer who switch from NX solenoids to X-10s

Hey Trevor, I wanted to give you an update. My builder called me today, stated my stock bore and stroke zx14 made 378 hp on his dyno. The funny part is he using the wet jets from the Nitrous express kit. So a normal 120 hp NX jet kit actually made well over 160 hp. The only change was your solenoids x10 250s. I had planned to run a 200 shot, but I think we will let it alone for a while. Man what can I say, I'm gitty as a school girl. I will let you know et when we make it down the track. Unfortunately many of my customers are less than forthcoming with most of their details as they don't want their competitors finding out why they are so quick.

It's not bad enough that I have everything else against me but even many of my customers are effectively working against me as well by not disclosing their results and the use of our products publicly.

Thankfully some of our customers who are doing well and have disclosed the fact publicly are doing very well and word is at last getting out there.

I'm guessing that the problems you mentioned with your wife have prevented you doing anything special this year?

yeah...pretty much. its all good though, starting over is fun sometimes. i got a whole lot of products in the pipe that we are working with a couple of companies on..special materials, formula 1 spec type stuff...so between the old lady and the responsibilty the projects have put on me, i have no time left for fun and games lol. maybe next year.

A silly question about the X-10s:

Is there the etched WON logo beneath the stickers on the other side of the pulsoids?

due to the way my pulsoids mount, one has to be opposite to the other. I want either both stickers or both nos logos showing. thanks

The laser etched WON logo is only on one side but we can supply another sticker to match those up for you.

Just a brief mention of yet another advance in our Pulsoid technology.

Never content with what we have achieved with the design and capabilities of any of our products (EVEN our all conquering Pulsoids), we're just about to launch an even more advanced and totally radical Pulsoid design, that we're primarily aiming at 4 & 8 cylinder engines.

The flow path through all our Pulsoids will be enhanced yet further and flow capability of our highest rated Pulsoid will be increased even more but the most radical and UNIQUE aspect of the new design I'll be announcing in a few days, when I'll also be presenting some 3D CAD representations of the design, so watch this space for my next post.

In addition to the obvious and RADICAL INTEGRAL D-Block feature (which will reduce pipe lengths, reduce cost, reduce weight and simplify plumbing), there are some not so obvious advances.

When I first designed the Pulsoid one of it's primary intentions was to do away with metering jets and to provide infinite flow adjustment but certain issues caused me to put that feature on the back burner. One of the issues was the ease of access and another was calibration, so we only encouraged our most experienced customers to use the flow adjustment feature.

However, with the new design those are no longer going to be a problem. Having 4 integral outlets leaves the original outlet end port easily accessible, as it will just be fitted with an easily removed blanking plug.
When fitted with that end upwards, it will now be extremely easy to access the adjustable seat and by temporarily adding a special scale indicator tool and using a special adjuster/indicator key, the seat position will be easily and accurately adjustable to any desired flow rate.

Achieving improvements at greater cost is the expected norm and is satisfactory but to make such major improvements and advances, while REDUCING the overall cost is an achievement I'm particularly proud of and we hope to be launching more of the same in the future.

Ultimately yes but unfortunately the current REVO design doesn't lend itself to such an arrangement, plus there isn't the additional need of the access to the seat for adjustment, so it's likely to be a slightly different arrangement. That said it won't be for a good while as we have more pressing advances to make with the REVO's before we concern ourselves with this feature.

I'll post pics of a complete Pulsoid as soon as we take delivery of the machined bodies but that could be a month from now.

Is there room for a 6 port version, would it work with 6 ports?.

Got some nearly new X10`s, could these be modified for 6 outlets?.

Yes there's room for 6 but we've no plans at this stage to offer one but we may do at a later date.

A couple of months ago I posted a CAD picture of our latest Pulsoid advance and now I can disclose the actual metal incarnation of that design. These will now be sent for anodising and laser etching and will be available for sale within a month.

These pics show the bare machined body with a few parts screwed in to place to make it look more complete. This design can accept ANY of our nylon pipes as well as ANY braided hose (3AN fittings shown in these pics), DIRECTLY to the Pulsoid WITHOUT the need for a distribution block and the associated plumbing. This radical and unique concept will produce much better and shorter flow paths, than is currently possible with conventional blocks etc. and will result in higher flow/power figures.

The new concept has no need of jets, as the distribution is PERFECTLY EVEN and the flow can be easily changed, by removing the Allen socket blanking cap and adjusting the seat position but for die hard jet users, we've also provided individual jetting capability. The new X-10 x 4 will be available in all 4 power sizes (150, 250 350 & 450 HP) and will cost less than a conventional Pulsoid and D-block, so not only are we providing you with improved performance and a lighter component but we're also saving you money as well. :-)
