EGT's are a very good way of assessing the evenness (or otherwise), of the distribution of nitrous and fuel through a nitrous system on a multi-cylinder engine.

I've previously mentioned that our Swedish Pro Mod customer had reported amazingly close EGT figures and now we have the results from our new World record holding nitrous assisted bike for the SS mile and surprise, surprise, they indicate the same results, which are that the EGT's are more even when using a WON nitrous system, than they are when running NA!!! :twisted: :twisted:
BTW that's JUST comparing the 'actual' numeric difference but when you consider the numbers as a 'percentage differential' it's even more impressive, as the differential NA is roughly DOUBLE the differential using WON nitrous!!! :shock:

Fortunately, both customers have previously used US brand kits and both have confirmed that the results they saw when using those were WILDLY DIFFERENT, with in excess of 100 degrees variance being the norm.

Anyone surprised at that???? Thought not!!!!! ;)

Here's a copy of the EGT logs from the world record run;

As soon as I figure out how to access the Racepak logs for the Pro Mod car, I'll post a copy of those as well.

When I get a minute I'll post some screen shots of a US Pro Mod bikes EGT's when using a NX kit and another when using a WON system, you won't be surprised to learn that the differences are OBVIOUS and in the case of the NX results, extremely irregular.

OK here we go DEFINITIVE PROOF of how much BETTER the consistency and distribution are, when using a WON system compared to ANY other kit, although in this particular case it's a NX kit WITH SHOWERHEADS!!!!!!

These results are on the same TOP US Pro Mod bike with the same engine, the same EGT sensors, the same logger, etc. etc.

The first graph shows the results using a WON system - BTW this was with US Fogger nozzles, JUST to keep the fit quick and easy and I'm sure the results would have been EVEN BETTER if I'd been using our COMPLETE Pro Series system.

The following graph shows the results from using a full NX kit;

With approx. 300 degrees difference in max temps and such a difference in consistency, which system would you rather be using on your engine??? :idea:
