I'm still preparing to fit the DP system, but for the time being I'm spraying under the carb into the top of the blower.
I'm now wondering if I should split the system and reduce the amount I use with the DP so I can use the gas on top as charge cooling.
The blower does suffer heat soak on a race day. I do have a means of keeping it cool between runs but the charge cooling effect of the nitrous into the blower inlet seems to be beneficial.
I cant see a downside to doing this. Can anyone else ??
When you inject under the blower you benefit as follows;
1) Less heat exchange ocurrs between the nitrous and hot metal
2) The nitrous is less likely to bounce off and reverse out of the induction system, as the blower acts like a one way valve.
