NITROUS OXIDE ( nos / n2o ) advice forum

Hi guys, had an idea about trying to find the closest/cheapest place to get nitrous refills, and also the service thats given there, to try and build up a database of all the refill stations in the uk. so that in future people can just search here and hopefully find the best place to buy thir n2o from. trev seems to think its a good idea and he said he will make this thread a sticky. it will probly take a while to get it built up. but we will have to start somewhere. ime not quite sure of the best way to go about this and if anyone has any better ideas let me know.

i was thinking mabey people should name a thread starting "nitrous refills" and then their county (eg norfolk) "Nitrous refills Norfolk" and then in the post put the name, adress and contact details of the refill station, the price and quqlity of service given.
and then when theres a thread for (e.g. norfolk) other people from that county can reply to that post with their refill station details, and so on and so on. so in other words when theres a thred for your county, you just reply to that thread with your refill station details.
and also if you have a big bottle at home that you use to fill up your smaller bottle on your car/bike, and you dont mind helping others out, you too can also post (if you want too) saying that you can do refills for other people. obviously dont leave your adrees and contact details, just let people p.m you but its completely up to you.

like i said before if any one has any better ideas on how to go about doing this let me know.

cheers bret, i fist got the idea because i'm planning on buying a system, and was just doing a little research to find out basically how much it will cost in the long term i.e refilling, and after searching on google e.t.c for refil stations, i just couldn't seem to find any close to me.
so i left a post on here, and trev said to look on the distributors page wich i did. so i phoned around the places that were on there, and one guy who was verry helpfull told me about another place closer to me, wich i wouldn't have known was there if he hadn't of told me.
so it led me to think, maybe there's other people driving miles out of their way to buy n2o, when theres probably a refill station right under their nose that they never knew was there.

so if every one lists the place they get it from, everyone may benifit by finding a closer/cheaper place to go. (then we will have more money to spend on the other important liquids) hic lol.

Yes and so was mine just now, so I assume that's another company that's gone to the wall in the last few months since we last contacted them.

Thankfully we get new agents every week, so we maintain the same average level but its hard work keeping up with all the changes.

Gav not close but banjax Motorcycles do fill my 11lbs bottle for me but i do have an adaptor from my won bottles to USA filler as they not a Won dealers but ya always have to call them to check prices and if they have it in stock , but if not to busy they will swap ya bottle fitting for one that fits there filling station

Only just seen this thread now. It might be a bit of a trek from north london, but I use Real Steel in West Drayton (a.k.a. chav drayton)...last time i went there i was paying £4.20 per pound of gas....i think that's exluding vat though and the last time i was there was nov' '06
