Mondeo st220

Power 260bhp

Single port nitrous system fittted (won)

I use a unichip 4 the ecu, but i run a second driver to bk to ignition off, to stop det. on Nos.
I got 322bhp with this setup 291l/bs torque. All setup on the rollers and feuling setup to match.

That all went good, power was good, This was using 100jet nitrous. Then decided to go 4 150bhp jets set it up again on the rollers but only got 15bhp extra but 20 l/bs of torque. Felt good on the road no probs.

So Today decided to go 4 direct port thinking this was the way to go and would be more efficent and more powerfull.

So all setup here i go to the rollers, but on the way there i couldent resist so i treid the Nos but it felt flat, and was comin in the not workin, still decided it may be the feuling or somthing.

Went on the rollers couldent get a full run cos it kept cutting out.

First graph is 100 jet before and 100 jet now. The dotted Line is todays run on direct port.

This grph is the b4 and after on the 150 jets This Time The DOTTED Line is b4 on single Port

Have you checked the plugs yet?

Also, could the stock fuel pump be maxing out at that power level? :?:

Just a couple of suggestions. I'm sure Trev, Brett and co will sort you out :)

VERY CHEEKY ANT!!! :beatstick:

Well as Ant could have told you all, at least part (or possibly all, although I'd be somewhat surprised if that was the case), was the flow rate of the supply pipe in this instance.

It seems the peice on this car was flowing less than it should have done and certainly less than we've seen on other cars, so we doubled it up and that improved things substantially but it's set back the fine tuning as we had to play it safe due to the improved nitrous flow, which means the dyno and some fine tuning will be needed before we can determine if it was JUST the pipe flow.

I'm now going to bring forward plans to source a higher flowing nylon alternative to braided, to ensure we can meet the higher demands that some customers need, without having to resort to such garbage.
