 Post subject: WOT switch wiring

What amp's are the WOT switch's included in the kits rated for?

instructions say to wire on pulsoid earth side

Looking to wire mine as per attached picture, but only single stage 1 relay

They can be wired on the positive side as well; I've done so in the past with no ill effects.

I gather you are using a megasquirt unit to trigger the nitrous system? In that case it will work as if it were any other solenoid pair. Be sure you use a relay capable of handling the load. The current requirements of the pulsoids differ among higher flowing units: increasing current with increasing flow capacities.

The switch is capable of handling the current requirements of a 150 & 250 HP Pulsoids, is the simplest answer and although a relay could be added, the reason we include such a highly rated switch, is to keep things simple and avoid the need for one.

Where you probably will need a relay is in your pressure switch circuit, as I don't know of any pressure switch that can handle more than an Amp or two.
