hi all
after having leaking valve problems on my last fill and talking to lewis and sending a pic of said valve i was informed i had the old type and replacement would be necessary.
i managed to undo it today and will order a valve soon....one thing that surprised me was the dip tube being straight,is it only the american bottles that get a bend ;)

oh and im assuming i dont get a new dip tube so is that little hole were you release it

cheers

In what way was the valve leaking?

Anyway, you can keep the dip tube as it's fastened by threadsealer, and also the dip tube should have been bent inside the bottle to pick up every last bit of liquid.

The little hole leads to the SPRV.

o ring is perished so that is an easy fix
but the top tap was hit and miss to close off nitrous without a leak

if your reading this trev i dont see my valve any different to whats on sale :blackeye:

The valve appears the same but perhaps they updated the seals.

alex would you have a measurement up the tube to begin the bend or isn't it that critical so long as it dips
cheers

I just bend it gradually by hand so that it is a smooth transition to the bottle valve.

BTW you owe us some good footage of this beast on the gas!

Sorry chaps but been moving my family lately, oh and got done for speeding (without nitrous) last week
tried a few exhaust mods, single box system to start with (no resonator) was pretty dam loud and i did lose some low end torque but on nitrous my god what a difference
also went from 17 inch wheels to the oem light 15s massive difference too
running 75 jets at the moment ..worth mentioning is it revs so quick to the red line i sometimes am not quick enough to change gear and hit the limiter
not good :D

It's time for a controller! You should get the Max Extreme so that you get the window switch feature.
