Hello all,

I've just had my pulsoids returbed and tidied up by WON and now before I reinstall I just want to see if there is a hierarchy or pulsoid orientation.

Should they be vertical or horizontal?
Should then the inlet/outlet be top or bottom?

Might as well get it right whilst I've got the engine out and got a chance.

Hi!

There is no special orientation for the Pulsoids themselves to work. However, the general rule is to avoid having fuel travel upward against gravity to keep the travel time to the injection point as fast as possible; it mostly affects systems using rather low fuel pressure or with distribution blocks for direct port applications.

Regards,
Alex T

No problem.

I am using a distribution block for my straighten 6 cylinder. Will try to mount the pulsoids higher then as currently they are below.

Thanks!

I'm about to fit my 150i kit and was going to ask the same thing
The best mounting for me would be to have the pulseoids with the outlets facing upward, my fuel pressure is 45psi

I'm going straight to the spray nozzle at the intake

Would this be ok (only running a 25hp shot)

It won't be a problem at all. It is only with direct port applications where orientation and position of some components need consideration.
