We used to make an injector/nozzle that was flat on the end and had 1 hole (for the fuel), drilled inline with the body so the fuel enterers the intake runner at 90 degrees. The nitrous was drilled at about 45 degrees to flow across the fuel exit and direct the mix towards the inlet valve.

That design was NOT a Crossfire, it was a forerunner to the Crossfire design.

The crossfire has 2 nitrous outlets (unlike ANY other injector/nozzle), which fire across the fuel and each other, hence the name. ;)

Yes that's one of our older injector/nozzle designs, of the type I was describing. The intention of the design WAS to increase AIR flow (as he's claiming - NOT nitrous flow), by fitting the end of it flush with the inner wall of the intake runner, instead of a chunk of metal protruding into the runner.
The principle was good, worked as described and if I could have merged that idea with my Crossfire design, we'd have an even bigger advantage over the US JUNK.
