Whenever I get an email notification of a forum topic reply, my ISP server marks it as spam -

"Bayesian Filter detected spam - Found word(s) receiving this email in the Text body"

Some peoples set-up may mean that the mails get automatically deleted. Can the auto reply be changed to remove the offending words and try to stop the spam wrongly detecting it?

I had the same problem with mails coming from the contact form on my site, so I had to reword the out-going form detail.

there isnt anything here an do about isp's stupid spam folders or what there known as "email killers"

the customers or people that simply come here need to adjust their spam folders.

like aol their is a marker in the spam folder stating "this is not spam" of which the user highlights the email and presses the correct button hence what i just said. this would then allow the email to come through as normal email

No such option from my ISP and as I use web based Outlook, cannot change any settings. It just arrives desognated as spam.

The filter is detecting the words "You are receiving this email" in the subject matter of the mail. Do you not have the ability to change the outgoing notification?

Only a comment on my part as customers may be missing out on replies to a topic they have subscribed to.

Pete

I'm sure Denny, Tom or Chip will be able to sort something on that one.

It is on the recievers end. Nothing we can do on our end form what I know.

I'm sure modified or looking at your settings will sort the problem out.

Must be my ISP then, as I have no settings to change. The spam tag is added by the mail server.

No worries, thanks anyways.
