BOC have a very nasty habit of saying NO to Nitrous for automotive use....worth a try but I wouldnt hold out much hope...

How much does an engine cost in comparison? In my own experiences after owning some 15-20 oil cooled suzukis, they barely cope with a stock motor on stage 3 carbs!! So supporting 200BHP+ aint happening!! Theres also the slight issue that these are vacuum taps, something under hard running with nitrous there probably aint gonna be a lot of.
If ya dont like the price of pingels, and theres plenty 2nd hand ones on the bay normally, then make one, it aint hard. Your local hydraulic shop can supply barrel taps at fuel standard for under a fiver, just need to make a base plate for it.
After all the effort you've put in to the bike dont skimp on possibly THE most important factor.... FUEL!!! Even a 50 shot will make a big old mess of that engine if ya run dry on the gogo juice
This is the one area you dont want to be marginal, if you're looking at a single outlet tap then you want 2.5-3litres flow/min so the tap can keep up with both carbs and nitrous easily..... And dont forget a high flow filter if ya make yr own and measure available output from here

we also have a food and dairy technology department at Reaseheath so i've just been over to convince the dairy bloke that he needs to start making tonnes of whipped cream and that a 88lb bottle of Nitrous oxide is just the ticket.
my mistake it's not BOC its AirProducts we deal with and guess what... they said no to nitrous oxide for motor vehicle project demonstrations and testing, hence the dairy angle. (it's worth a try at least)

just a quick question... if i use the tee piece to break into the original fuel line then run a 4mm nylon to the fuel pulsoid is this not quite restrictive?


hang on... the fuel line is jetted after the pulsoid, that's the restriction you dumb arse hence no need for 8mm hose to the fuel pulsoid.

I think i just answered my own question didn't I?

contacted these guys as suggested and they put me in contact with two of their trade customers both within spitting distance and one of them PSI tuning is a WON stockist!!! (i'm off to buy a lottery ticket)

are inlets easy to change, just in case i find a twin outlet fuel tap soon? or can you supply the 8mm barb inlet separately?

thinking of bottle mounting positions.... this looks best but most likely isn't. See where that standard exhaust is? that will modify brilliantly to make a bottle holder also if i can keep the tail pipe it may just look like twin exhausts (if you squint and it's foggy and you have a cataract)

is this a feasible bottle position?

can you make that a 5mm inlet on the nitrous? i've just had this info off the seller in relation to the bottle valve "it's a WON fitting,for 5mm nylon, so 1/4bsp to m10x1" that means more to you than me.

all wired in and working! for future reference...anyone doing a bandit and using the WON TPS switch it's the BLUE wire you solder the white one to.

just need to mount the bottle and i'm away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Question for Trev. how does mounting the bottle across the bike up behind the numberplate sound??? just a thought that i wanted to run past you... sort of between the indicators if that makes and sense.
