Cecil Towner (HTP Performance) has done it AGAIN.

With Lavar riding one of Cecil's customers new Pro Street bikes fitted with a Pulsoid system, the Aruba Pro Street record has just been dropped to 7.07 :)

This is the first event results we've had for this season, so it's a GREAT start and bodes well for the NUMEROUS new US customers we have running our Pulsoids for the first time this year.

I don't know what the previous record was but it would no doubt have been held by a turbo bike and as there's only one turbo bike (that I'm aware of), that has run quicker than 7.10 and that was at a different track, I'd guess it would be in the region of 7.1 to 7.2s so an improvement in the region of a 0.1+ secs I'd GUESS.

There's no doubt this time will be improved on as the season progresses and ALL Cecil's times will improve even further, once ALL his bikes are fitted with out latest DIGITAL REVO's, which will be done at the earliest opportunity.

I think it was actually up around the 7.35 range. The team were aiming for a 6 in the last run, but rain beat them to it (doesn't it always!)

HTP and WON are really setting the pro street scene alight at the moment!

There I go again under egging yet another outstanding achievement and yet 'some' people still don't believe me, when I make claims they just can't believe possible, due to their limit understanding of nitrous technology. :beatstick: :beatstick: :tard: :tard:

I didn't realise when I first made this post, that Aruba is an island off South America and thought it was just another Drag strip in the south of North America.

Nor did I realise that the previous BIKE record was held by what looks to be a full blown Competition class bike, with wheelie bars and big slick, at 7.15 seconds.

Therefore unless I've misunderstood something from Cecil's email (which often happens), that record has just been destroyed by one of Cecil's Pro Street bikes with NO wheelie bars and on a treaded street tire!!!!!

Even if I've got some or all of that wrong, a drop from 7.15 to 7.07 is still IMPRESSIVE.

That all sounds about right Trev, although I think the pro-street bike record would have previously been a fair way above the 7.15 overall record. Therefore, even more impressive.

AWESOME NEWS; Team HTP hold positions 1, 2 & 3 in Pro Street bike after the first round of qualifying (02.06.12), with Ryan 7.10 - Danny 7.17 & Richard 7.22 - now that's what I call IMPRSSIVE!!!!

Yes there sure was and now the nitrous Pro Street record is OFFICIALLY 6.99 and held by Ryan Schnitz on the HTP WON assisted Busa.

After a closely run event where FOUR HTP WON assisted bikes came 'close' to taking top honours and the NEW Pro Mod bike posted the highest terminal speed in the class over the weekend (which means it was making MOST POWER), Cecil Towner made the following statement on my Facebook page;

Wizard of Nos Best Nitrous systems period

GREAT news, although Cecil Towner's team (HTP racing) didn't bring home any wins this weekend, they did manage to get their ALL NEW Pro Mod bike on song and proved it by posting the quickest ET in eliminations, despite some of the hottest track conditions on record.

Cecil is now confident he's on the right track to run much quicker times, as soon as he gets some decent track conditions, so we're all looking forward to seeing those times fall below the 4.0s.

Perhaps interesting here to inform you about Aruba. It`s one of a group of Islands.
There`s also Sint Maarten,Sint Eustatius, Bonaire, Bovenwindse Eilanden, Curacao, Saba.
These were all former kolonies of Holland in the old days.
Most of them are independent now but there are still close connections to Holland.
I`ve been on holidays quite many times there and the influence from America is large.
That also meant there is a huge drag racing scene over there. Nearly every Island has one or more dragstrips and the cars and bikes used over there are a mix of American and European. Some very fast teams over there I can tell you. Got the impression it`s almost the most popular sport over there.
Most of the tracks resemble the atmosphere you told about on Malta Trevor. Lots of similarities.
Reason I tell this all is that a large communitie of these Islanders have wandered through the years to Holland and started a dragrace community here aswell.
They make up almost half of the starting field of the streetlegal dragrace series I always compete in Drachten in Holland.
They are usually the quickest in the car and bike classes.
If you want to find new markets for your products Trevor I would suggest combine your next holiday to Curacao for pretty girls, hot beaches, spectacular dragraces and wild beach parties.
Can recommend it to everyone.

Hi Paul,

Many thanks for the recomendation.

As it happens I already have a customer in St. Marten who is aiming to replicate what Cecil has done in the Pro Street class down there and the quickest bike on Aruba is already a replica of Cecil's Pro Street bike, which has wiped the floor with all out competition bikes including the turbo's.

We've also had one or two people contact us for systems for other bikes from the other islands but as yet we haven't sold a system to any car owners from any of them.

Hopeful word will get out to all classes in all countries soon, so that the number of engine failures, fire balls and general poor performance caused by US brand kits comes to a speedy end.

MORE GREAT news, although Cecil Towner's team (HTP racing) didn't bring home any wins again this weekend, Cecil did manage to get the Fuel injected Busa Pro Mod bike to run the quickest ever ET for such a bike (4.19 secs) and once again this was in some of the hottest track conditions of the year.

Not only were the track conditions less than ideal (ALL Pro Street bikes were running in the 7.1s) but the nitrous fuel ratio was WAY TO RICH (due to a minor jet change issue), plus the bike is still on a single Pulsoid, which is severely limiting how much power can be delivered.

We're therefore extremely confident that there are much better times to come, as soon as the REVO is fitted.

Ryan ran a little quicker at the last meeting with a 4.17 and that was only good enough for the bottom half of the field, despite NOBODY running quicker than 4.11 now that's what you call CLOSE racing.

A misjudged clutch tune caused Ryan to lose out in the first round of eliminations.

The 4.17 makes Cecil's Pro mod bike the quickest injected Busa in the world, so yet another first with WON assistance.
