Here is a video of the stereo working, it has a lot more bass that I expected.

Now then Mr Blue Dragon!!

I've been following this with interest. I recently commented on your Youtube vid with the stereo booming its nuts off.. Turbo box made a comment about Rocket Boosters ???

Why dont you think about re routing the purge into small rocket shaped things on each side of the chair?? I have access to a lathe and some friends with proper workshops who would no doubt be happy to help out with the cause for free. I'm thinking about something along the lines of a 2" diameter tube about 10" long with a NASA style rocket cone shape at one end where the purge could exit?

I also have another mate with a laser cutter who works with s/s sheet material. I recently got him to make me a small box about 10" x 8" x 2" deep with a cover that had a house number and name laser cut into it. The guy we made it for found some coloured acryillic sheet and glued that on the inside to cover the holes of the numbers and letters. He then got some little led strip lamps of some sort from Maplins and illuminated the sign from inside. It looks pretty darn good I must say :)

Now I dont want to be putting any "off the wall" ideas into your head Mr Dragon. You seem to have plenty of those yourself mate. :)

I'm more than happy to help if I can dude!! I dont know where you live but I can get stuff made and posted out for free if you can supply some sketches etc ?

Regards
Perry

If you want to discuss further please email me on perrystephenson7@hotmail.com

It is always handy to know people in different trades :D I've dropped you an email.

The light box you have is just like the light boxes I have on the wheelchair which have the ICELED and JL Audio logo light up. For mine I have a plastic box for each and then I replaced the cover with a sheet of frosted acrylic with the logo then added using vinyl sticker. Originally the one on the front was for a local sign maker but they appear to have closed down without telling me, so I had it replaced with the "JL Audio" logo which I think looks better anyway.

Just a quick update. On Sunday my wheelchair was on display at Yorkshire Modified Show in York and the chair won a trophy for "Most Unique Modification"

It felt amazing. I was just sat there with my gazebo and one of the staff came over to me and said to head over the the main stage in an hour as it should be good. I sat at the main stage waiting and when they started the awards they said "This one was the easiest decision we've had to make" and then called my name out.

I know exactly how you feel, as I once had a very similar experience, when I won the trophy for the quickest street car many years ago. :)

Awesome news... Careco.co.uk called me yesterday morning explaining they have been following my project and they are willing to send me a free mobility scooter to do anything I would like to. So yesterday they sent me a CareCo Zoom Mobility Scooter :)
http://www.careco.co.uk/item-p-ms01033/ ... tabsection

Once it arrived I will start learning how it comes to pieces, unfortunately you can't get a Haynes manual for them haha. I will then be sending the body panels off to a guy who does hydrodipping to have a cool paint job. This won't have a silly sized bottle on but I may place one of the smaller NOS bottles on if I can get hold of one just to make people say "wow it has nos" hahaha.

I will then be looking at what lighting I can add without going over the top. This scooter will mainly be used for me to get around shows while my wheelchair is on display, so I'm going to try and connect as little as possible to the batteries.

Excellent news! You're project up to this point is quite awesome to say the least... if I lived nearby, I'd adapt a petrol engine to it with some WON NITROUS for sure!

I received the scooter and the following day i had it stripped down and send some of the panels off for hydro-dipping. I'd love to fit an engine but I need to keep it as light as possible so I can lift it into the car.

I might try get a small NOS bottle like I had on my wheelchair originally. I traded it in for larger one though lol

I'd turn that into a HYBRID job by adding a small petrol engine to those front mounts. ;)

I've not updated this post in a while as I've not been too well. I'm due to have my knee replaced Wednesday so I've had to cancel all shows.

For the wheelchair I've started building a custom body-kit. This will house the speakers, lighting, sponsor stickers and will be sprayed with plastidip to add some colour. I also have a new custom made seat with built in el wire that lights up blue.
Image

As for the mobility scooter that now has hydro-dipped bodywork panels, 7inch led light bar, modified seat with EL Wire and now a system to imitate air suspension using linear actuators.

Hi everyone.
The Lowrider system is fitted and fully functioning. It can raise one wheel off the ground by about 1ft, even with someone sat on it.
