Hi, being new to nitrous this might seem like a dumb question, but exactly how long do solenoids last and do pulseoids offer a longer life?
Generic U.S. solenoids from Parker (used by nearly all, if not all, other nitrous companies) can fail in as few as 10 cycles or fail without even 1 cycle, whereas Pulsoids are tested at a minimum of 1 million cycles without signs of wear. I've had my X-10s for about 3 years at over 35hz with 100% dependability.
I've seen Parker solenoids used on coffee makers installed on commercial aircraft, and they routinely failed.
